Contractor Partnerships Editor / Client Services Manager

This position will operate on a remote, contractual basis. Candidates must reside in the U.S. or Canada, or in countries within a few hours of the EST time zone.

Valnet Inc. is looking for a Freelance Partnerships Editor / Client Services Manager to help manage and execute sponsored content across our portfolio of leading consumer tech publications.

In this freelance position, you will act as the bridge between our editorial teams and brand partners. You will oversee the editorial execution of sponsored content and ensure all partnership materials meet quality, brand, and SEO standards.

• Coordinate between Valnet brands and external partners to ensure high-quality, on-brand sponsored content.
• Manage the content schedule for partnership-related deliverables.
• Review, edit, and oversee product-focused content, including hands-on reviews, roundups, and brand collaborations.
• Collaborate with writers to provide feedback and ensure deadlines are met.
• Step in to create content when necessary, especially for time-sensitive deliverables.
• Maintain strong author and contributor relations.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment and client satisfaction.
• Assist with other publication-related tasks as needed by the management team.

Requirements:

• Experience reviewing consumer tech products for editorial, marketing, or branded content purposes.
• Excellent editing and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO and digital publishing tools.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
• Tech-savvy with a passion for consumer technology and media.
