Job Details
The Platform Manager Intern contributes to ONC’s mission by helping maintain and optimize ONC’s digital presence across various platforms. The Platform Manager Intern will have experience in platforms such as WordPress, Canva, Slack, Google Drive, SmartRecruiter, etc. This intern is responsible for assisting other interns use these digital tools that are used to deliver content. If a team member is having a difficult time with a platform, you’ll step in to either do it for them or teach them how. This position is remote.

- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various platforms including WordPress, Slack, Google Drive, Canva, Substack, MailChimp, Libsyn, Handshake, SmartRecruiter, and others.
- Provide platform information to interns via Slack by creating written documentation (how-to guides) for each platform.
- Create video content of tutorials to train future team members.
- Collaborate with interns and team leads to ensure smooth workflows and platform usage.
- Identify and introduce new digital tools that could enhance our operations.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in at least some of the platforms: WordPress, Canva, Slack, Google Drive, Substack, SmartRecruiter, Handshake, Libsyn, MailChimp, Microsoft Outlook, GoDaddy, Bluehost, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, X
- Quick learner, with the ability to pick up unfamiliar platforms with minimal guidance
- Responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even during high-pressure situations
- Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule in order to make deadlines
- Ability to attend weekly Organization-Wide meetings
- Ability to attend weekly Media team meetings
- Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
