Contractor Power BI Developer

Job Description

BETSOL is looking for a Power BI Developer with 2-4 years of extensive Power BI experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Understand business problems and suggest data and analytic solutions to support decision makers
• Develop and test analytic hypotheses using established methods
• Create data visualizations that convey a clear story about what is observed in the data
• Design, develop, and validate predictive and explanatory models using a wide variety of models
• Communicate results to variety of audiences
• Responsible for project documentation

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on work experience with Power BI.
• Power BI Report development, and SQL
• Ability to develop custom visualizations as needed by wireframes
• Building Analysis Services reporting models
• Ability to develop and utilize DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
• Knowledge of PBI Components - Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Website, Power BI Mobile Apps
• Good communication skills 
• Experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for business intelligence
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards

Additional Information

Preferred Experience:

• Proficient with reading and programming in SAS
• Experience in computer science, statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative field is preferred
• Analytic or operational experience and / or education in Hospital Operations, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, or other relevant medicine topics is appreciated
