Contractor Principal HR Data Analyst

Overview:Looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR Data Analyst to join our team. Analyze and interpret HR data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions. Work closely with HR leaders to identify trends, monitor metrics, and develop reports supporting data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI or similar tools, for BOD and Executive Leadership.
• Collect, consolidate HR data from multiple sources; automate data collection, add missing data fields and refresh monthly.
• Work with HR leadership to identify key HR metrics and develop reporting processes.
• Analyze consolidated HR data, identify trends, and provide insights/recommendations to CPO and Senior HR Leadership.
• Develop KPIs to track progress against strategic goals.
• Partner with HR team to monitor risk areas and potential action plans.
• Review diversity analytics and establish core metrics.
• Stay current with trending metrics and data insight opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Data Science or related field with 5-7 years' experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or BI.
• Expert Excel skills, including macros and automation techniques.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present findings effectively to BOD, CEO and executive levels.
• Experience with HR data systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.).
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), and converting data/analysis into simplified executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong communication skills to present data and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative team player and relationship builder with strong project management skills to handle multiple projects.

Target Compensation: $84/hour. Position Length: 6 months.
