Contractor Principal Oracle EBS Financials Solution Architect

Take the Lead on a Global Oracle EBS Transformation.

You’ll own the end-to-end Financials solution architecture, shaping outcomes across GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and iExpense, while leading a talented team of functional and technical specialists.The first 8 weeks will see you embedded onsite in the US Midwest (expenses covered), setting the direction and getting deep into discovery. From there, you’ll make targeted onsite visits over the next 12–18 months to keep the solution on track and the client engaged.

• Leading Solution Architecture for Oracle E-Business Suite Financials implementations, upgrades, and optimisations.
• Driving end-to-end solution design across core financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and iExpense.
• Facilitating and leading requirements workshops, producing high-quality functional and technical documentation.
• Advising clients on best practice processes and innovative uses of EBS Financials functionality.
• Providing strategic guidance to stakeholders, influencing decision-making and project direction.
• Overseeing solution integrity across multiple workstreams, ensuring consistency and compliance with architectural principles.
• Collaborating closely with technical teams to guide integrations, extensions, and reporting.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, estimations, and bid responses.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• A proven track record as a Solution Architect or senior consultant for Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
• Expertise in multiple EBS Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, iExpense) and their interdependencies.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles in complex organisations.
• Hands-on experience across full project lifecycles – from discovery and design to deployment and optimisation.
• Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Experience with integrations, reporting tools, and customisations within EBS.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
