The eat! Program is our bulk food distribution program that impacts both our small farmers and our communities. Through eat!, we distribute food boxes filled with fresh, local produce to families in need throughout LA County.
As the Program Coordinator, you will be directly involved in all aspects of our food distribution programs and will need to be adaptable and responsive to the growing and changing needs of the program.
- Assist with the coordination of produce deliveries to community locations, communicating with farmers and community partners.
- Assist with invoicing, excel spreadsheet tracking, and other online organizational duties.
- Manage CSA membership communications, including creation of a weekly newsletter.
- Works on-site at the farmers market three times per week, packing orders and delivering orders to CSA members.
- Assist with management of the eat! online platform to troubleshoot issues.
- A minimum of (1) years of relevant experience.
- A clean driving record and experience driving a 15-passenger van or smaller.
- Experience fulfilling, packing and delivering orders.
- Experience managing multiple tasks in an organized and detailed manner.
- Multilingual; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with social media and other technology platforms.
- Experience working in community food systems.
