Part-Time Proposal Writer (Public Sector)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical proposal writer to join our team as a part-time consultant.

Responsibilities:

• Working on the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process for public sector clients, ensuring compliance with government regulations and maximizing success rate.
• Developing, writing, and editing high-quality RFP responses.
• Analyzing RFP requirements and coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary information.
• Managing the entire RFP lifecycle, from initial review to final submission.
• Ensuring all proposals comply with government regulations and client specifications.
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to create compelling and technically accurate content.
• Developing and maintaining a library of reusable proposal content and best practices.
• Monitoring and reporting on proposal success rates and identifying areas for improvement.
• Staying up-to-date with public sector procurement trends and regulations.
• Conducting post-submission analysis and participating in debriefing sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in RFP development, preferably in the public sector.
• Proven track record of successful proposal submissions and knowledge of public sector procurement regulations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Understanding of government contracting processes and public sector financial management.
