Intern Public Relations & Social Media Intern

Lime, the world's largest shared electric vehicle company, is seeking a creative, self-starting PR & Social Media Intern for the summer.

As an Intern, you'll contribute to:

• Creative storytelling about Lime's impact on urban travel.
• Ongoing media relations efforts to position Lime as a leading brand.
• Purposeful writing (press releases, social posts, blog posts, etc.).
• Social media strategy and content creation support.
• Trendtracking and cultural monitoring to keep Lime relevant.

You will:

• Support Global PR Lead & Global Social Media Manager.
• Provide support across core PR programs (earned media, content, speaking engagements, awards).
• Develop and build media databases.
• Research and support proactive editorial pitches.
• Provide support for metrics reporting, clippings, and internal newsletters.
• Learn Lime's social media strategy and support content ideation, creation, and execution.
• Track content performance and share key learnings.
• Work with the Global Social Media Manager to identify brand collaborations.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree-seeking program with graduation in 2025, 2026, or 2027.
• Available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) for 10-12 weeks starting in May or June.

About You:

• 0-1 year of PR or social media internship experience.
• Proactive, with strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Intermediate understanding of media relations and public relations.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Fluency in internet/meme culture.
