- Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and manage test plans across teams.
- Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Define and maintain test case repositories and coverage matrices.
- Coordinate test efforts across multiple features and releases.
- Run release readiness checks, perform risk assessments, and triage bugs.
- Standardize QA documentation and best practices.
- Partner with engineers to identify where and when to introduce automation.
- Mentor junior QA contributors (analysts or engineers) as the team grows.
- Requirements:
- 3+ years in QA roles with increasing responsibility, focused on manual testing.
- Proven ability to design comprehensive test strategies and coverage plans.
- Experience testing complex SaaS products.
- Legacy Stack: Proficiency in PHP 7, MySQL, Vue.js, JavaScript, and infrastructure hosted on DigitalOcean.
- Modern Stack: Hands-on experience with NestJS (Node.js), NextJS (React), TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS services including SQS/SNS, ECS, and Fargate.
- Testing Tools: Strong knowledge of Playwright, Postman, and TestRail (or similar QA tools).
- Deep familiarity with regression cycles, exploratory techniques, and bug triage.
- Ability to advocate for quality and influence engineering/product decisions.
- Strong written communication and QA documentation skills.
- Experience in fintech, event-driven systems, or regulatory testing is a plus.
