Contractor QA Automation Engineer

Reporting to the Associate Director, IT, Agile Testing Lead, you will:

1. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
2. Create automated test scripts to verify functional and non-functional requirements of a product in various stages of the development life cycle.
3. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
4. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
5. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
6. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
7. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
8. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
9. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

You Have:

• Proficiency in Quality Assurance / Test Automation
• Ability to program/code with Python, or similar programming language
• Experience in script-writing and testing such as performance testing, integration testing, and test automation
• Work experience in software integration and system testing in the cloud
• CI/CD experience with the ability to integrate with Build pipelines, and with software development tools such as Git and Gitlab.
