We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team located in Villanova, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products. This role primarily involves performing quality assurance tasks, including testing, bug tracking, and process improvement for digital projects.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of various digital deliverables such as websites, email campaigns, omnichannel projects, and reporting dashboards.
Develop and implement test plans and test cases to ensure optimal functionality, usability, and performance.
Identify and document defects, then track these issues using specific bug tracking systems.
Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot these issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Carry out regression testing to verify fixes and to avoid any unintended consequences.
Test backend services/APIs using tools like Postman.
Analyze the results of the testing and provide clear and concise feedback to stakeholders.
Propose innovative approaches and methodologies to continuously improve quality assurance processes.
Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance methodologies.
Requirements
Proficiency in QA - Quality Assurance is required
Familiarity with JIRA software
Experience with Postman API Development tool
Solid understanding of Software Quality Assurance processes
Proven expertise in Software Testing methodologies and tools
Ability to identify and document defects and inconsistencies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of various software testing strategies including white box, black box, and grey box testing
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
