Reporting to the Financial Crime Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a project team responsible for quality assurance of client AML risk assessments.
The team will support the wider Financial Crime team on various tasks, including AML reviews, SARs/DAML, PEP reviews, and Production Orders.
This role will initially be remote, with a future expectation of being based in the Glasgow office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality assurance of client AML risk assessments, evaluating submissions against policy standards.
- Identification of high-risk factors in client risk assessments, determining appropriate risk ratings and required evidence.
- Liaison with and guidance to internal Onboarding colleagues and Frontline business staff to ensure accurate client risk assessments.
- Effective workload management and proactive improvement suggestions.
- Support to the wider Financial Crime team on tasks like DAML reporting and PEP reviews.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach
- Experience in an Anti-money laundering or client due diligence team
- Knowledge and experience in KYC/AML for various client types (individuals, corporates, partnerships, trusts)
Desired:
- School leaver or educated to degree level (2:1 or above)
- Diploma in AML or Financial Crime advantageous
