Contractor Quality Assurance Engineer

For this specific QA position we are looking for someone who has more experience in Nightwatch and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans based on system requirements for moderately to highly complex systems
• Work as a member of an agile team to test, analyze, document software solutions
• Collaborate with product owners to understand the product needs and plan the development of automated testing solutions
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to effectively test solutions and help resolve bugs
• Write technical documentation for software solutions that conform with, and effectively represent, department standards

Required Skills

• Proficient in building out software testing frameworks
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Deal with ambiguity and write test cases that are not necessarily outlined in requirements/user stories
• Proficient in an Object-Oriented Programming language (C# Preferred)
• Understanding and working knowledge of RESTful APIs and REST client
• Ability to develop Back-End API/DB/Cloud Storage automated tests and frameworks
• Understanding and working knowledge of Source Control (GIT)
• Understanding and working knowledge of Agile methodology
• Knowledge of SDLC process & experience in the role of testing within SDLC
• Working experience with Azure technologies such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Events, and Function Apps
• Understanding and working knowledge of Page Object Model (preferred)
• Ability to partner with coworkers and peers to develop and implement a comprehensive test solution (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance, E2E, and UAT)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Retail industry concepts and systems such as product, pricing, and promotional data, sales transactions, third party delivery systems, etc.
• Working experience with Data Hubs and testing for Data Integrity and Data Accuracy
• Working experience with writing automation for third Party API integrations
• Familiarity with Event Driven architecture
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices
• Experience creating performance tests with JMeter or similar tools
