At Syngenta, we're building a collaborative and trusted team to deliver top-notch seeds and crop protection innovations to boost farmers' prosperity. Syngenta’s Crop Protection Regulatory Affairs Team is looking for a Regulatory Operations Specialist to work remotely for 12 months on a fixed-term contract. This role involves preparing regulatory documents and submission packages for Canadian regulatory agencies to register pest control products. You'll manage regulatory information, official regulatory files, and maintain data in regulatory systems.

Accountabilities:

  • Preparing administrative documents for regulatory submissions.
  • Compiling documents to create regulatory submission packages.
  • Managing regulatory information and maintaining relevant databases.
  • Conducting searches for regulatory and/or scientific data and information.
  • Supporting activities related to incident reporting.

Critical success factors & key challenges:

  • Successful teamwork to achieve regulatory objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal customers.
  • Ability to follow guidance documents for independent work.
  • Excellent organizational skills and task prioritization in a high-volume workload.
  • Attention to technical and administrative details.
  • Assisting in quick and efficient information transfer.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential subject matters with discretion.
  • Multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.

Required skills:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent experience in the agricultural industry or related fields.
  • Knowledge in regulatory terminology.
  • General understanding of the regulatory process and types of data used to support pesticide registrations.
  • Equivalent experience with product labeling and/or regulatory information management is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, database management).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
