Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Volunteer/Intern to support the HR team. This is a fully remote volunteer position with meaningful work-related tasks. Preferred time commitment 5-10 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing recruiting strategies.
- Assist in the interviewing and on-boarding process.
- Revise and implement HR policies and procedures to automate and improve the recruiting and on-boarding process.
- Assist with volunteer engagement initiatives.
- Maintain contact with program participants.
Education Requirement:
Must be pursuing a degree in: Human Resources, Business, Nonprofit Management, Psychology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Counseling, Sociology, or human services. Must be a Junior or Senior for Internship. Volunteers may be graduates or active students.
Required Skills:
- Dependable and enthusiastic.
- Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Estimated time commitment: 9-10 hours/week. Term limit: 4-6 Months (extendable).
