Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Remote Radiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform radiologic evaluations remotely, delivering high-quality interpretations that contribute to timely and accurate clinical decision-making. This role is ideal for a medical professional with a commitment to diagnostic excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning in radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Radiologic Evaluations: Interpret a wide range of radiologic studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Provide detailed and insightful radiologic reports to guide clinicians in patient care.
- Peer Collaboration: Consult with peer radiologists and other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure diagnostic accuracy and improve outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance programs, contributing to case reviews and peer discussions to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Training & Supervision: Mentor and train radiology residents and fellows as required, fostering their growth in diagnostic imaging.
- Research & Development: Engage in research and continuous education to advance radiologic practices and improve diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Compliance & Standards: Adhere to all policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Professional Relationships: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with referring clinicians, hospitals, and healthcare teams.
- Reputation Building: Contribute to the organization's reputation through activities such as research publications, presentations, and leadership roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
- Medical Credentials: Medical Doctor or equivalent professional degree. Board Certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (or equivalent international certification). Fellowship training in subspecialties is highly preferred.
- Licensure: Hold or be eligible to obtain unrestricted state medical licensure.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in interpreting various imaging modalities and technologies, including PACS and RIS systems. Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Experience: Significant prior experience in diagnostic radiology or subspecialty fields. Proven ability to work in a collaborative and remote environment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to foster professional relationships and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
