Job Summary
As a Principal Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of innovative solutions within the Supply Chain - Consumer Goods domain. With a focus on Rust and POS Basics you will ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our global clients. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.
Role: RUST Developer (Must have: Experience building Microservices in RUST)
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of cutting-edge solutions using Rust to enhance supply chain operations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Build Microservices in RUST
Hands on experience in AWS serverless technologies like Lambda Functions, EKS, ECS, Dynamodb, SQS, Kinesis, SNS, SES
Knowledge of Retail domain is preferable
Good debugging skills in RUST
Knowledge on using VS code as an IDE for Rust Development
Knowledge on CI/CD preferable Kraken
Ability to do code reviews and identify performance bottle necks
Experience inbuilding resilient rust services with DR on AWS
Knowledge on terraform
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in Rust with extensive experience in developing robust software solutions.
6+ Years Experience in Retail
Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience in Rust
Lead and manage a team of Stores professionals
Front end solutioning discussion on Stores with customers and other internal stakeholders
Develop solutions & offerings in and around the Stores space
Handson AWS

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $113,000 to $132,500 and will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
