Job Details

Purpose: Generate profitable new sales through active client engagement using various sales techniques and marketing campaigns to exceed new business targets.

Location: Home-based role.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell company services and products to achieve targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
  • Generate prospects, follow up leads, attend sales meetings, generate quotes, and convert quotes into new business.
  • Handle customer interactions (teams, email, telephone, face-to-face).
  • Provide excellent customer service and product advice.
  • Proactively pursue assurance sales.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in the CRM system and other company systems.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing strategies by identifying market sectors, opportunities, and threats.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver marketing initiatives (social media, mail shots, collateral).
  • Perform cost-benefit and gap analysis of existing/potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Meet sales goals and objectives as agreed with Line Manager.
  • Lead qualifying cold calling businesses.
  • Follow up on business quotes.
  • Maintain company integrity and image to all customers.
  • Demonstrate company core values.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Industry experience (ideally in assurance).
  • Proven sales ability.
  • Strong business and industry acumen.
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Commitment to customer care.
  • Adaptability to diverse customer bases.
  • Proven experience in exceeding targets.
  • Experience in assurance, food, food manufacturing, or food retail (preferred).
