Job Details
Purpose: Generate profitable new sales through active client engagement using various sales techniques and marketing campaigns to exceed new business targets.
Location: Home-based role.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
Responsibilities:
- Sell company services and products to achieve targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
- Generate prospects, follow up leads, attend sales meetings, generate quotes, and convert quotes into new business.
- Handle customer interactions (teams, email, telephone, face-to-face).
- Provide excellent customer service and product advice.
- Proactively pursue assurance sales.
- Maintain up-to-date information in the CRM system and other company systems.
- Contribute to sales and marketing strategies by identifying market sectors, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver marketing initiatives (social media, mail shots, collateral).
- Perform cost-benefit and gap analysis of existing/potential customers.
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Meet sales goals and objectives as agreed with Line Manager.
- Lead qualifying cold calling businesses.
- Follow up on business quotes.
- Maintain company integrity and image to all customers.
- Demonstrate company core values.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Industry experience (ideally in assurance).
- Proven sales ability.
- Strong business and industry acumen.
- Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Commitment to customer care.
- Adaptability to diverse customer bases.
- Proven experience in exceeding targets.
- Experience in assurance, food, food manufacturing, or food retail (preferred).
