Aftermarket Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales process, from lead generation to order fulfillment, for Syntegon packaging equipment.
The role also involves enhancing customer satisfaction by collaborating with Syntegon resources to address customer needs and technical specifications. This position demands a team-oriented individual capable of building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive lead generation and manage the sales pipeline through order intake.
- Represent the full aftermarket product portfolio (Field Service, Parts, Modernization, and Training).
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships, deeply understanding their organization, key decision-makers, business strategy, and goals.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Use CRM tools for consistent meeting and project documentation.
- Collaborate with new equipment sales teams to foster ongoing business with existing customers.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, science, or business, or equivalent experience and education.
- 2+ years of sales experience (including territory management and customer relations) within the capital equipment industry, or 2+ years of customer/technical skills in field service, technical helpdesk, or project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge or hands-on experience in the assigned sector.
- Proven track record in aftermarket sales.
- Ability to handle pressure in mid-to-large capital sales transactions.
- Proven success in breaking into new markets, establishing new customer relationships, and expanding networks through effective networking.
- Strong service orientation.
Compensation:
- Base compensation ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 per year, but varies based on several factors like office location, role, experience, and credentials.
