PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, meeting client business requirements. It involves leading development solutions for HMGMA Meta Plant, supporting SAP S/4 HANA and Fiori systems, collaborating with offshore teams and Korea HQ for best practice implementation. The SAP ABAP Developer is accountable for ERP project and enhancement assessment and execution, including service delivery on CBU's SAP ERP instance. The role collaborates with team members for cost-effective enhancement delivery without impacting quality, providing support in service delivery and ensuring service level agreements are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects.
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and research causes of problems.
- Propose and test corrective action with user department.
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Perform routine duties according to procedures for regular tasks.
- Keep records, prepare reports, issue and maintain addresses for SAP systems with ABAP perspective.
- Perform other duties as required.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Helps businesses implement technology solutions cost-effectively by defining project/program requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.
- Works with management and end users to improve/re-engineer business processes for higher efficiency.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr.
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
- 3+ years IT experience
- 3+ years solving business problems with technology solutions, preferably in Automotive or Manufacturing
- Hands-on ABAP programming experience required.
- Ability to set expectations, explain and champion technical concepts.
- Ability to translate details into specific tasks.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interaction skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a complex problem-solving environment.
- Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
- Strong system troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Forms)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW)
- S/4 Hana knowledge is a plus.
Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred.
