PURPOSE: This position supports ABAP programming, leads development solutions, liaises with offshore teams, and collaborates with HQ. The SAP ABAP Developer assesses and executes ERP projects and enhancements, including service delivery on the CBU's SAP ERP instance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Delivers quality products as an ABAP technical lead and leads ABAP projects.
- Provides programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Responds to SAP ABAP production issues and researches problem causes.
- Proposes and tests corrective action with user departments.
- Works with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Performs routine duties according to procedures.
- Keeps records, prepares reports, and maintains SAP system addresses.
- Performs other duties as required.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Helps implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project requirements and communicating them to stakeholders.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years in IT. 3+ years solving business problems with technology, preferably in Automotive or Manufacturing.
