PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, fulfilling client business needs. The role includes leading development solutions, collaborating with offshore teams and Korea HQ, and enhancing/implementing best practices. The SAP ABAP Developer is accountable for ERP project and enhancement assessment/execution, including service delivery on CBU's SAP ERP instance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects.
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and research problem causes.
- Propose and test corrective action with user departments.
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Perform routine duties according to procedures for regular tasks.
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and manage SAP system addresses (ABAP perspective).
- Perform other duties as required.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Implement cost-effective technology solutions by determining project/program requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.
- Improve or re-engineer current business processes to increase operational efficiency, working with management and end users.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr.
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years IT experience; 3+ years solving business problems with technology solutions (Automotive/Manufacturing preferred); hands-on ABAP programming experience is required.
Skills: Ability to set expectations, explain technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners; excellent customer service, verbal/written communication, and professional interaction skills; ability to work creatively and analytically in complex problem-solving environments; strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills; strong system troubleshooting and analytical skills; knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, and Smart Form); in-depth knowledge of SAP systems and modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW). S/4 Hana knowledge preferred.
Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred.
