PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, meeting client needs. It leads development solutions, collaborates with offshore teams and Korea HQ, and implements best practices. The SAP ABAP Developer is accountable for ERP project assessment, execution, and service delivery on the CBU's SAP ERP instance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Delivers quality products as an ABAP technical lead and leads ABAP Projects.
- Provides programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Responds to SAP ABAP production Issues and researches causes of problems.
- Proposes and tests corrective action with user departments.
- Works with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Performs routine duties, maintaining records and reports for SAP systems.
- Performs other duties as required.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Helps implement technology solutions cost-effectively, defining project requirements and communicating them to stakeholders.
- Works with management and end users to improve/re-engineer business processes for higher efficiency.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr.
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
- 3+ years' IT experience.
- 3+ years' experience solving business problems with technology solutions (Automotive/Manufacturing preferred).
- Hands-on ABAP programming experience.
- Strong customer service, communication (verbal/written), and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving ability.
- Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills.
- Strong system troubleshooting skills.
- Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Forms).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW).
- S/4 HANA knowledge a plus.
Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred.
