PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, leading development solutions to support business systems. It involves business liaison with offshore teams and collaboration with Korea HQ to implement best practices. Accountable for ERP project and enhancement assessment/execution, including service delivery on the CBU's SAP ERP instance. Collaborates with team members to deliver enhancements cost-effectively without impacting quality, resolving service delivery issues, and ensuring service fulfillment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects.
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and research causes of problems.
- Propose and test corrective action with user departments.
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Perform routine duties according to procedures for regular tasks.
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and manage SAP system addresses from an ABAP perspective.
- Perform other duties as required by management.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Helps businesses implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project/program requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.
- Works with management and end users to improve or re-engineer current business processes to increase operational efficiency.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
- 3+ years IT experience
- 3+ years solving business problems with technology solutions (Automotive or Manufacturing preferred)
- Hands-on ABAP programming experience is required
- Ability to set expectations, explain technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills, ability to interact professionally with diverse groups
- Proven ability to work analytically in problem-solving complex environments
- Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
- Strong system troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Forms)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and various modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW)
- S/4 Hana knowledge is a plus
Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred.
