PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, leading development solutions, supporting business systems, and collaborating with offshore teams and Korea HQ to implement best practices. The SAP ABAP Developer is accountable for ERP project assessment, execution, and service delivery on the CBU's SAP ERP instance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead and lead ABAP Projects.
- Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
- Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and Research causes of problems.
- Propose and test corrective action with user department.
- Work with functional consultants for integration tests.
- Perform routine duties for regular tasks, keeping records, preparing reports, and managing SAP system addresses.
- Perform other duties as required.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:
- Implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project/program requirements and communicating them to stakeholders.
- Improve/re-engineer business processes for higher operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
- 3+ years IT experience.
- 3+ years solving business problems with technology solutions (Automotive or Manufacturing preferred).
- Hands-on ABAP programming experience.
- Ability to set expectations, explain technical concepts.
- Excellent customer service, verbal/written communication, and professional interaction skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation/persuasion, analytical, system troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Forms).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW).
- S/4 Hana knowledge is a plus.
- Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred.
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr.
