Contractor SAP ABAP Developer

PURPOSE: This position provides primary support for ABAP programming, meeting client needs, leading development solutions, supporting business systems, and collaborating with offshore teams and Korea HQ.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver quality products as an ABAP technical lead, leading ABAP Projects.
• Provide programming solutions to various SAP functional areas.
• Respond to SAP ABAP production Issues and research problem causes.
• Propose and test corrective actions with user departments.
• Work with functional consultants for integration tests.
• Perform routine duties according to procedures for regular tasks.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and manage SAP system addresses.
• Perform other duties as required.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:

• Implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project/program requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:

• 3+ years' IT experience
• 3+ years' experience solving business problems with technology, preferably in Automotive or Manufacturing
• Hands-on ABAP programming experience
• Set expectations, explain, and champion technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners.
• Translate details into specific tasks for accomplishing tasks and solving problems.
• Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to interact with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a complex problem-solving environment.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, analytical, system troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Broad knowledge of programming techniques (dialog programming, BDC, SAP Script, Smart Form).
• In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/CO/HR/BW).
• S/4 Hana knowledge preferred

Certifications: SAP ABAP certification preferred

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)/yr
