- Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for all AWS changes, including VPCs, EC2 instances, security groups, and IAM roles.
- Configure log collectors and manage the integration of AWS logs into Azure Sentinel for centralized security monitoring.
- Automate the deployment and management of cloud resources and log collection configurations using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner and collaborate with the Managed SIEM provider to design and implement a robust log shipping pipeline that includes CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, and other AWS services into Azure Sentinel to ensure seamless log ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
- Design and implement security monitoring solutions, ensuring that security logs are being collected, encrypted, and transmitted securely.
- Develop and implement automation to ensure security services (Guard Duty, Macie, Security Hub etc) are automatically applied when new AWS environments are created.
- Audit existing AWS accounts and regions to ensure that all security services are properly configured and operational to meet compliance and security standards.
- Partner closely with Cyber to implement cloud security best practices and benchmarks to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC2, HIPAA) and support evidence artifact collection / requests for various audits.
