Temporary Senior Event Operations Manager (Maternity cover)

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering a live event to a high standard and within budget.
• Overseeing all aspects of onsite management including build-up and load out, transportation and traffic management, registration, build productions, delegate and sponsor management, crowd management and coordination of venue and vendor teams of security, AV, catering and supporting staff.
• Managing event budgeting and logistics.
• Contracting and liaising with all venue suppliers.
• Communicating and working closely with internal departments to ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Produce all necessary event management plans including safety plan, risk assessment, permissions, crew staffing etc.
• Prepare and present post event evaluation.

Qualifications:

• A proven track record of a minimum of 2 years’ experience of delivering large scale events.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong numeric for reporting and budgeting.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Customer oriented with a “can Do” attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Passion and willingness to travel.
