About the Role
This role is for an experienced and ambitious front-end developer who can progress the quality of our websites, landing pages, and online and on-site coding bootcamp products.
A key responsibility of the role is to ensure that our website and digital assets better convert leads into satisfied students and customers.
The front-end developer will also ensure that landing pages are high speed and mobile optimized for our paid media campaigns and SEO optimized to scale organic impressions.
Responsibilities:
- Creating the structure, template or layouts of new projects using frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap, Angular, Ember, React, Vue, Django, Jquery and material design
- Creating dynamic page layouts based on api information
- Developing responsive, mobile-first web applications and PWAs
- Cross browser support for all modern browsers
- Implementing basic SEO
- Identifying and suggesting user experience improvements
- Provide mentorship to peers and team members
- Participate in code reviews
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a front-end role using: HTML / HTML5, SCSS / CSS3, jQuery / Javascript, Bootstrap 3 / 4, React
- Ability to transform designs (Photoshop XD, Sketch, Figma etc) into flawless cross-device implementations
- Understanding of SEO principles, web accessibility, and technical writing
- Good understanding of web standards
- Good understanding of Git and versions control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
Bonus:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Web Analytics / Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console
- Coding / writing for SEO, Django and MVT architecture, Webpack / Gulp / Grunt
