Full-Time Senior Frontend Developer

Your Mission: We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer that will work with their team to improve and maintain our React application. With users in 180 countries & some of those being on low-end devices we need someone with a strong focus on optimization and performance to support our diverse user base across the world. You will be involved in developing new features with the rest of the team, as well as working closely with a dynamic team of Backend/Frontend Developers, and creative designers, ensuring everything we build is fast, reliable, and scales effortlessly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the performance, optimization, functionality and architecture of our web app and commercial platform
• Build and deploy new code, features and products, as well as maintaining and improving old code
• Working closely with the rest of the technical team to ensure performance of our frontend but also maintainability of our code base.
• Monitor and react accordingly to the website performances, keeping up with our features and user needs.
• Be hungry to learn, fast to execute, do a lot with little, and care strongly about your product and users
• Be a team player and a good friend who will contribute to our unpretentious culture

You bring with you:

• Reside in Europe or LATAM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in written and spoken English
• 6+ years of programming experience, 5+ years React experience with a focus on performance & optimization
• Experienced in optimizing large scale web applications (100k+ monthly users) & a proven track record of running large scale websites
• Deep knowledge of the inner workings of React
• Experienced in maintaining frontend repositories and frontend developer tools
• Experienced in working with HTTP protocol (especially HTTP/2) and CDN:s
• Good understanding of modern CSS
