Contractor Senior Java Developer - eCommerce

As a key member of our engineering team, build and optimize high-performance, scalable ad tech solutions – develop Real-Time Bidding (RTB) technology.

Our platform handles millions of clicks per month. Ensure smooth, efficient, and intelligent operation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team on server-side Java application development and optimization on a custom ad tech platform handling millions of clicks per month.
• Design and implement RESTful services for high-traffic, monolithic, multi-threaded environments.
• Implement high-performance, scalable solutions using Spring Boot, Docker, and database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Document system architecture and development processes for seamless team collaboration and maintainability.
• Contribute to a high-performing, agile team delivering innovative, data-driven solutions.

Skills and experience required:

• At least 6+ years of professional Java development experience, including production coding in server-side Java (currently using JDK 17).
• Strong expertise in designing RESTful services for high-traffic, monolithic, multi-threaded environments.
• Experience with AWS services (Athena, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and database technologies.
• Proficiency in database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Deep understanding of testing frameworks and TDD methodology.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude.
• Passionate about building quality products that perform well under pressure and are easy to maintain.
