Responsibilities Include
Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern Java web applications iteratively in the AWS environment using DevSecOps Tools
Use of Object Oriented or Functional Programming
Well able to function in a Test-Driven Development environment
Work in Pair Programming
Work with Cloud Technologies AWS, etc.
Work in a JVM based environment with the technologies listed below in requirements
Requirements Overview:
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience in related area with at least 5 years of software engineering experience
Strong programming skills with Java 8+
Experience with Spring Framework Core, Boot, Data, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Python,
Experience working with container-based technology such as Docker
Experience working with Configuration Management/Automation technologies such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Experience with Python, EKS, Helm is preferred
Experience working in Agile Development environments Scrum, SAFe
At least 3+ years of experience working in AWS environment
Experience working in cloud native systems
Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps
Experience implementing modern web applications
Experience with teams of technologists of varying backgrounds and levels of experience
Experience managing end-to-end delivery, from UX design to production release.
Experience working within a Continuous Delivery Patterns and Practices
Experienced operationalizing, monitoring, and maintaining distributed systems
Active Public Trust Clearance with IRS component/agency is highly preferred
