Contractor Senior Performance/Security Tester

ProArch is seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Tester to join our dedicated quality assurance team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, strategies, and scripts for applications.
• Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing to evaluate application performance under different conditions.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and create detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
• Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate user load and gather metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve application performance based on test results.
• Mentor junior testers on best practices in performance testing and analysis.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficient in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
• Experience with application profiling and performance monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of how web applications operate, including knowledge of protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
