As a Senior PHP Developer and Product Owner, you will take a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and back-end systems using PHP and related technologies.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, taking ownership of the product vision and ensuring that project objectives align with business goals.

Your comprehensive understanding of both technical aspects and product requirements will be essential in guiding the team's efforts, collaborating effectively, and delivering exceptional software solutions that meet user needs and exceed expectations.

Your role as a Product Owner will empower you to influence the product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive innovation, making a significant impact on the success of our projects and overall business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Full-Stack Development: Lead the end-to-end development process, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring that web applications are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
2. PHP Development: Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications, RESTful APIs, and custom modules according to industry best practices and project requirements.
3. Technical Architecture: Collaborate with architects and other team members to design robust and scalable solutions that align with business needs and technical standards.
4. Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency across the team.
5. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and databases, ensuring optimal speed and responsiveness.
6. Security: Implement secure coding practices to safeguard applications against potential security vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
7. Testing and Debugging: Write and execute unit tests, participate in system testing, and troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure high reliability and minimal defects.
8. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and other development-related processes.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
10. Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
11. Mentoring: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers to facilitate their growth and professional development.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience: Proven experience of 5+ years working as a PHP Developer, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

PHP Expertise: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in PHP and its frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) with a clear understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Database: Proficiency in working with relational databases like MySQL.

Front-End Skills: Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular).

RESTful APIs: Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them into web applications.

Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Code Quality: Demonstrated experience in writing clean, modular, and maintainable code, with a passion for code quality and best practices.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, and promoting a collaborative team environment.
