Contractor Senior QA Engineer

We're seeking a passionate freelance Senior QA Engineer for our forthcoming IoT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Compatibility Testing: Ensuring seamless interoperability between devices, sensors, gateways, protocols, and platforms.
• Functional Testing: Verifying functionality of IoT apps (data collection, storage, processing, monitoring, control, integration).
• Performance Testing: Evaluating system performance under various loads and conditions.
• Security Testing: Identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in devices and communication protocols.
• Estimating Work Effort
• Mentoring junior team members
• Participating in requirement discussions and daily calls, providing feedback
• Knowledge Sharing

Requirements:

• 4+ years mobile app testing experience
• Strong English (B2)
• Test case management tools (TestRail, Qase, etc.) and Atlassian tools
• Solid QA knowledge
• Out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills
• Precision, curiosity, perceptiveness, patience
• Self-reliance, responsibility, time management
• Keeping up with industry trends
• Engagement and teamwork

Nice to have:

• Experience with physical devices (e.g., wearables)
• Automated testing experience
• API testing (Postman), database testing
• Web app testing, web-debugging proxies (e.g., Charles, Proxyman)
• ISTQB Foundation certificate
• Agile/Scrum experience
