RYZ is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join an e-commerce client.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Karate automation framework.
- Extending Test Framework for APIs and Front end/Backend testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to understand system requirements and functionality.
- 4+ years of experience in Software testing or Quality Assurance.
- Proficient in API testing, and automation with basic programming skills like scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Strong understanding of API testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and work closely with engineering teams to resolve them.
- Experience with issue tracking, configuration management tools, workflows, and practices such as JIRA.
- Experience making data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of REST API Testing and exposure to tools like Postman, or Swagger
