Contractor Senior Risk Intelligence Engineer

As a Senior Risk Intelligence Engineer, you’ll lead critical anti-fraud initiatives. You’ll leverage advanced tools like Elasticsearch, Lucene, and Python to analyze and mitigate fraudulent activities. This is an opportunity to apply your analytical tradecraft and DevOps expertise.

• Develop ETL Pipelines: Write advanced ETL code in Python to integrate and load data into Elasticsearch.
• Program Fraud Detection Tools: Utilize Lucene and Python to create queries and procedures that identify and mitigate fraudulent activities.
• Conduct Threat Research: Analyze global fraud trends and map financial and criminal networks.
• Support Production Systems: Manage and troubleshoot Elastic Stack clusters.
• Deliver Actionable Insights: Transform complex data into high-quality intelligence products.
• Drive Innovation: Research emerging fraud prevention technologies.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product, Enterprise Risk, Risk Services, and IT teams.
• Maintain Data Standards: Support risk intelligence data standards.

• Experience: 6+ years in fraud, data science, modeling, or risk management. 3+ years in ETL development and data integration. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Proficiency in Elastic Stack administration and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Advanced knowledge of Lucene and Python.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
