Full-Time Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

The Role: We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, enjoy working on new ideas, and developing exciting products and growth features.

What we are looking for:

• +5 years experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with libraries like Resque and RSpec
• Ability to write clean Ruby code
• Proficiency with code versioning tools (Git, Github, SVN, Mercurial)
• Experience with Angular or React.js
• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM
• Good understanding of frontend technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3)
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages (Slim, Liquid)
• Familiarity with testing tools

Nice-to-have:

• Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours)
• Knowledge of TypeScript

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new web applications
• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications
• Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code
• Integrating data storage solutions
• Creating backend components
• Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs
• Integrating user-facing elements designed by the frontend team
• Connecting applications with additional web servers
• Maintaining the APIs
