Job Details
Seeking a Senior-Level SDET/QA Automation Engineer to develop and implement a new test automation framework. This role involves building a scalable framework using TypeScript/WebdriverIO/PlayWright.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automated frameworks and tests.
- Develop automated regression test cases using existing automated tests or manual test cases.
- Build test automation from scratch at the services/API layer.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other SDETs.
- Be an advocate for software quality.
- Effectively communicate test status and progress to stakeholders.
- Find, document, and track bugs.
- Support production releases as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Python.
- 6+ years of experience developing software automation frameworks and test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
- 4+ years of WebdriverIO/PlayWright experience.
- 6+ years of experience building web and mobile (Appium) automated test scripts.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies like AWS/GitHub Actions.
- Proven experience building enterprise-level automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience building automated scripts in an agile environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred).
