Contractor Senior SharePoint Consultant

SharePoint Consultant and Developer will take responsibility for all aspects of design, architecture, development, deployment, operations, administration, training, and support of key SharePoint infrastructure and business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings to gather business requirements and suggest solutions.
• Support entire application lifecycle (concept, design, testing, release, and support).
• Analyze business requirements and suggest best practices.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint design and technical specifications; conduct unit, integration, and release testing.
• Implement SharePoint software applications and interfaces.
• Support End User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Operations & Release Management.
• Assist with upgrades and new releases; monitor performance.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint design and technical specifications, assist in defining and documenting SharePoint Best Practices.
• Code changes and code reviews.
• Develop enhancements and customizations.
• Help clients with solutions.
• Write technical specifications.
• Ensure developed and customized solutions comply with quality assurance standards.
• Design and develop frameworks and critical code with wider impact.
• Create detailed technical plans for project execution and implementation.
• Answer technical questions, clarify issues, and resolve obstacles for the team.
• Be transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
• Write development progress reports.

Experience and Skills

• 12+ years of MS SharePoint consultation and development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience/knowledge of MS SQL, AD (Active Directory), and SharePoint customizations.
• Solid knowledge of performance improvement best practices.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (Korean/English) is preferred but not mandatory.

Other Requirements

• Remote (US Eastern Time preferred).
• No C2C.

Salary

$60 - $65/hr
