Full-Time Senior Shopify Developer

The Role: We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer. Ideal candidate has growth orientation, loves development, and enjoys creating innovative products and growth features. Required Skills and Experience:

1. Broad expertise in Shopify store construction, launch, and maintenance, including understanding of the admin system.
2. Proven proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
3. Experience working with custom themes and/or the Storefront API.
4. Understanding of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.
5. Experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps and building unique solutions if needed.
6. In-depth knowledge and expertise with Vanilla.JS, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks.
7. Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
8. Strong testing and debugging abilities using the browser console and other tools.
9. Experience developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
10. Familiarity with third-party services and APIs, and Shopify Apps.
11. Excellent communication and proactive feedback skills.
12. Nice-to-have Skills:
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• CET time zone (+/- 3 hours)
13. Responsibilities:
• Build engaging, knowledgeable Shopify stores to increase sales and revenue.
• Design bespoke Shopify themes and modify existing templates per brand guidelines.
• Be proficient in all aspects of the e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with UX/UI design teams to create innovative frontend experiences.
• Ensure seamless integration with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize functionality.
• Regularly test and debug websites to improve performance.
• Provide technical support and coordination, preventing business failures.
• Increase conversion rates through website optimization.
