Jitterbit is seeking Senior backend engineers to join our Platform team. Jitterbit is an iPaaS (Integration as a Service) and API Management platform recognized in Gartner MQ for seven straight years. Our customers use our Low-code iPaaS, APIM, LCAP, and B2B platform to address mission-critical business automation challenges. Our goal is to make it easy to automate customers' systems by building a reliable, stable, and scalable SaaS offering. You will help build, design, and architect new capabilities on our iPaaS and APIM Platform. You will work with Java, Nginx, Tomcat, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Redis, MySQL, Linux, C++, Apache, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities include full lifecycle responsibilities to create robust, scalable, and distributed systems that operate flawlessly 24x7x365.
About You
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns.
- Strong experience in Java and top-tier RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Proficient with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiar with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to mentor others and work effectively in a distributed team.
