About the Client: A leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization collaborating with healthcare companies to bring new therapies to market.
The Role: The Technology and Data Solutions unit drives innovation in life sciences. The Senior Solutions Architect translates requirements into actionable strategies to meet client needs and accelerate health impacts.
Responsibilities:
- Independently solve complex problems.
- Gather project requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into project specifications, using internal/external systems.
- Design data ingestion/transformation systems and processes.
- Support development teams with production schedules, test plans, documentation, and presentations.
- Communicate project updates to clients (demos, calls, emails).
- Coordinate internal/external resources to ensure timely project delivery.
- Independently prototype analytical tools for proof-of-concept scenarios.
- Manage multiple complex requirements, workflows, and timelines to meet client expectations.
- Design data models supporting healthcare analytics products (dashboards, apps, reporting).
- Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA required, MS/MA preferred) in relevant fields (e.g., Information Systems, Statistics).
- 3-5+ years of experience.
- Experience with modern data/cloud technologies (Snowflake, SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI, Azure).
- Expertise in architecting, designing, and implementing data-centric solutions.
- Experience creating custom/templated data models.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, data modeling, and machine learning.
- Experience collaborating with onshore/offshore teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience in healthcare marketing analytics, healthcare data (Rx, medical claims), and common medical coding sets (ICD, HCPCs, NPIs) is a plus.
Opportunity Details:
- 100% remote independent contractor position.
- Client based in the US.
- Initial 12-month contract, possible extension.
- Contractor provides own laptop/PC.
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, EST time zone.
