Contractor Senior UX Designer

As CX Experience Designer you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver human-centered products.

Your role will be to analyze, plan, map, and create valuable experiences that are simple, and intuitive for customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Engage in the full lifecycle of client projects.
• Design wireframes, mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes.
• Understand the core Human Centered Design framework.
• Create and rapidly iterate interactive prototypes.
• Co-creating on designs with developers, marketing, and product stakeholders.
• Put forward new cases for designs improvements with marketing and product managers.
• Communicate with detailed design and industry backed decisions.
• Engage and align with all multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with research department to execute usability testing studies.
• Analyze friction within existing experiences and identify root causes for that failure that can be translated into solutions.

Skills and experience:

• Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced startup environment.
• Demonstrates strong visual design execution and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines and standards such as WCAG 2.0 or 2.1.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems and Design Systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically.
• Versatile in knowledge of retail purchase experiences, Financial Services and the insurance business is a plus.
• Must demonstrate strong knowledge of design thinking.
• Working collectively and autonomously with cross-functional teams.
• Is a self-starter who can take ownership of design projects end-to-end.
• A design related degree or relevant experience in designing products and services.
