About the Role: UX Engineers at ATPCO synthesize design and development. They partner with UX designers, product managers, and full-stack engineers to build customer-centered interfaces for airline retailing.
Senior UX Engineers focus on the 3Victors suite of products, enabling strategic pricing decisions using AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive front-end development on key applications, collaborating with full-stack and backend teams.
- Develop innovative, engaging prototypes using front-end technologies.
- Design and build components for ATPCO's design system.
- Advocate for end-users and customer outcomes throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with and synthesize feedback from designers and UX researchers.
- Communicate feasibility impact to non-technical team members.
- Document applications for teammates and design system users.
- Write automated unit, E2E, and visual regression tests.
- Mentor junior UX engineers and peers.
- Provide code review feedback and share best practices.
- Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end engineering.
- Expert in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Proficiency in design system principles, techniques, and tools.
- Experience with cloud-based application development.
- Understanding of human-computer interaction design.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
