Temporary Senior UX Researcher (Mixed Methods)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to lead strategic research initiatives focused on helping people find and build community online. You will conduct hands-on, primary research to inform product development and drive impactful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies (interviews, focus groups, concept testing, usability testing, surveys, diary studies).
• Manage end-to-end research projects.
• Translate research findings into strategic narratives.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other researchers.
• Uphold high standards of research ethics and inclusive design practices.
• Lead research efforts for SEO and discovery experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in UX research, applied research, or product R&D.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Ability to manage and deliver end-to-end research projects independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience translating research into product recommendations and strategic insights.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mixed-methods research approaches.
• Familiarity with product design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
• Background in tech environments or fast-paced product teams.
• Domain expertise in community, social platforms, or group-based user experiences.
