We are seeking Sessional Ombudsmen in Insurance to join our busy decision-making team on a per-engagement basis.
Expert support: Our sessional ombudsmen provide expert "on-demand" support.
Flexibility: Engagements can range from a few days to several months.
Experience: This role suits senior lawyers with established practices or executive-level legally qualified professionals with strong achievement records, background in financial services (especially general and/or life insurance).
Key skills: You should be a natural leader, consultative, efficient, adaptable, and empathetic, with excellent communication skills.
Resilience: You should be able to handle criticism from consumers and firms.
No bias: Your recent business dealings should not create a perception of bias towards either consumers or the financial services industry.
Qualifications: Hold legal qualifications and have significant achievement at a senior legal level in insurance or a tribunal, EDR scheme, regulatory agency, or related business.
