Job SummaryOur small team (3-5 people) automates IoT product firmware testing. We seek an SDET (Python) to develop and enhance automation solutions. You'll own test automation tools and libraries, tackling challenging technical problems, shaping testing processes, and owning product testing areas.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop new complex testing components
- Identify and fix bugs in test code
- Keep testing code and infrastructure updated
- Create technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Mentor newcomers and assist team members
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver testing results on time
- Participate in technical interviews and internal promotions
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong Python knowledge
- Proven experience with Linux systems
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Experience writing development support tools (parsers, profilers, visualization tools)
- Good spoken and written English
- Nice to have: Scripting languages (bash, groovy), embedded SW development experience, Raspberry Pi/Arduino experience, 802.11 protocols knowledge, DevOps and CI tools (Jenkins, Gerrit, GitLab) experience
