Contractor Software Engineer

Zencore is a fast-growing company seeking experienced Google Cloud engineers. We help customers transition to Google Cloud, focusing on data and application modernization.

You'll work directly with customer teams, providing strategic guidance and executing projects collaboratively. This is a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding customer requirements and technical challenges.
• Developing technical solutions and communicating value to client teams.
• Estimating project timelines and deliverables.
• Leading the implementation project team technically.
• Utilizing technologies like Kubernetes, AI, and LLMs for scalable applications.
• Staying current with industry trends to improve cloud solutions.
• Working with cross-functional teams for end-to-end solutions.
• Solving complex technical challenges.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Strong Python knowledge (Go experience preferred).
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Microservice architecture implementation knowledge.
• Kubernetes experience, including packaging and deployment.
• Experience working with data and databases.
• Experience deploying production workloads on public cloud (GCP or AWS).
• CI/CD tool familiarity (GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Comfortable with video meetings.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
