Contractor Software QA/QC

We are seeking a software tester to join our team, focusing on enhancing the quality and reliability of our software products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute black box and white box testing to identify bugs.
• Participate in developing and implementing QA tests and procedures for product excellence.
• Collaborate with the software development team to document bugs and inconsistencies, ensuring quality standards.
• Assist in designing and executing test plans and cases to improve software functionality and user experience.
• Work with QC to assess software performance, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Handle diverse tasks, showcasing flexibility and dedication to quality and reliability.
• Ensure software meets quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge and experience in software testing, using testing frameworks and understanding QA methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of clean architecture principles and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to understand complex systems and identify errors and solutions.
• Strong teamwork and independent work skills.
• Organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Knowledge of test design concepts and methodologies (e.g., TDD).
• Familiarity with UI test frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium).
• Familiarity with unit test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, Jest, Pytest).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
• Prior QA experience.

Work Schedule

Vancouver-based team requires availability from 8 PM-10 PM EET (10 AM-12 PM PST) during the 8-hour workday.

Salary: USD 2500/Month
